Interior styling & e-design London, Ontario
Heritage is not beige. It is saffron, turquoise and crabapple pink.
I'm Aniket. Self-taught, one person. I put the things you inherited into the room you actually live in — whatever you inherited, whatever it cost.
Inside it is the room now.
The things people actually inherit are loud. The transitional part is not draining the colour out of them — it is deciding which one gets the room, and letting everything else stay small.

Who you would be working with
Years of doing this for friends, before anyone paid me.
“I'm a self-taught interior decorator and stylist. After many years of helping friends and family style and design their spaces in India and Canada, and receiving positive and encouraging reviews, it was time to expand the horizons and turn this passion into a profession!”
Aniket, founder of AURCO Interiors
He also believes the thing the pricing on this site is built on: that interior design “should not always be a luxury service, but also be available at an affordable price to homeowners, renters and DIY enthusiasts.”
The wall of things people kept
Almost everything you inherit arrives in black and white.
A framed photograph is the one heirloom every family on earth has, and it comes out of the box with no colour on it at all. Putting it back into colour — onto a wall in a room you use on a Tuesday — is the entire job. Keep scrolling and watch it happen. Touch any one of them to bring it back on its own.

Whatever you brought here
Not one of these came from the same place.
These are objects sitting in rooms I have worked on. My own half of this is Indian — the carved panel came from that client's family there, and it is the one I keep pointing at. Yours will not be Indian. The method does not change; only the object does.
- Three black-and-white family photographs The oldest things in that room and the cheapest to hang, and the one heirloom every family on earth has. They go next to the carved panel rather than in another room, because they are the same story. Left of the panel
- A carved arched panel It came from the client's family in India. It is a window, so it got hung where a window would go: high, centred, and lit from the side. Above the sectional
- Framed papyrus, two pieces Small, and badly lit for years. Stacked vertically at eye height so you read them on the way past instead of walking by them. The stair corner
- A patterned cushion Black and off-white geometry against tan leather. It is the only pattern in that corner, which is exactly why it works. The reading chair
- A block-printed bird Green on cream, in a grey frame pitched to the same tone as the wall, so the print talks and the frame disappears. Beside the pothos
- Yours A tray, a textile, a tea set, a tool, a pot, a photograph — a thing nobody else in the world would have kept. Bring one photo of it to the free fifteen minutes. Slot open
The same room, both ways
Drag it. Nothing structural changed.
Same footprint, same fireplace, same window. What changed is what is on the walls, what the sofa is, and where the light lands. This is what the work actually is.
Before
After
Empty on purpose
Four slots, waiting.
There are no client films and no testimonials on this site, because there are none yet. A dashed gold frame means nothing has been uploaded there. A solid gold frame means it is real. You will always be able to tell which is which.

Tip of the week
This week
Free advice, no call required
Hang art at 145 cm to its centre
Gallery height is 145 cm from the floor to the middle of the piece, not to the top of the frame. Almost everything hung in a house is hung too high, and dropping it is free.
Where the name came from
Two skies, one house.
AURCO is two words, one from each side of the family. Both halves are in the mark: an A and a C drawn over one another so they share a single stroke.
AUR
from Aurora BorealisThe northern lights — seen in parts of Canada, which is the country the studio works in. The cold half.
CO
from “Orko” — Sun, in SanskritThe warm half, and the heritage the founder brought with him. A light source, which is why gold is the only metal on this site.
“AURCO aptly defines the amalgamation of embracing one's heritage, merging it with modern times.”
Aniket, founder
What actually lands in your inbox
It arrives as paper. That is why this part is.
Not a mood board and good luck. Four things, each of which you can open, read, take shopping, or get on a call about — and a date attached to every one.
- Two mood boards Built from your questionnaire answers after our first call, with inspiration photos. Settling the direction first is what stops a project drifting later.
- A space plan and a design plan Within two weeks of the first call: layout, paint colours, furnishing selections, lighting. Emailed before we talk, so you have read it rather than reacting to it live. One round of revisions is included.
- A shopping list you can actually use Manufacturer, quantity, price, dimensions and a description for every item, with direct links. Things you can buy online or from a shop near you — so a piece that is out of stock is a piece you can replace, not a dead end.
- A call while you are placing it all Once the furniture has landed, a post-design call for the part everybody finds hardest: where the decor actually goes. This is the part that gets skipped when a plan arrives as a PDF and nothing else.
And what it costs
Four ways in. One of them is free, and every number is on this page.
Prices are per room, in Canadian dollars. No “starting from”, and no form to fill in before you are allowed to see a number.
